Main Challenge

Creating architectural models to generate detailed finishes BOQs and perform MEP coordination analysis within a short timeframe

Solution

To rapidly model MEP and architectural design, a Grasshopper script was created to read DWG files and convert them into CSV lists. Based on the data in the CSV files, a C# plugin and dynamo scrıpt was developed to generate the model within the Revit environment. Additionally, a C# script was written to calculate quantities of paint and baseboards, varying according to the type and geometry of each room.
